The Irish Government will hold an emergency cabinet meeting this morning after the UK voted to leave the EU.
In a statement just issued - The Irish Government has said this result clearly has very significant implications for Ireland, as well as for Britain and for the European Union.
The meeting will take place at 10 am and we expect the Taoiseach to make a statement shortly afterwards.
Sinn Fein says the vote in the North now intensifies the case for a united Ireland.
It's widely expected they'll call for another referendum asking the Northern Ireland people if they want to leave the UK.
