Support for the government is at its highest level in three years.
That’s the finding of a new survey which shows Fine Gael support on the rise - although Labour has failed to gain ground in the last three months.
The Millward Brown poll in tomorrow’s Sunday Independent shows Fine Gael support on 29 per cent - up five points from the last similar poll at the end of July.
And while only 31 per cent of voters say they’re happy with the government, that’s the highest satisfaction rating the coalition has had in these polls for three years.
However the support doesn’t seem to be translating to Labour - which still only polls at 7 per cent, unchanged compared to the poll three months ago.
Sinn Féin are also unchanged on 21, with Fianna Fáil up a point to 24 per cent.
