Talks between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are expected to continue until at least tomorrow to finalise a deal on a minority Government.
The two parties haven't held full talks since Tuesday but have been exchanging documents.
However they won't meet tonight to sign off on a deal.
Meanwhile a war of words has broken out between the negotiators.
Leo Varadkar standing by comments that Fianna Fáil making water charges a key issue was "ridiculous".
