The former Greek finance minister has admitted he ordered staff to hack into the computer systems of the Greek tax office, as part of contingency planning to leave the euro.
Yanis Varoufakis says a small team of experts accessed the records of the tax office - which was under the control of the Troika - to retrieve tax records of civilians.
He made the comments in a secret briefing with international investors, a recording of which has now been published online.
