Greece is officially in default, after it failed to make a 1.6 billion euro repayment to the IMF by midnight last night.
Last night euro zone ministers rejected a last minute appeal for a bailout extension from the Greek government.
But they're due to hold a conference call this morning to consider Greece's request for a new 2-year bailout from the EU.
The country's banks remain closed as the country waits for Sunday's referendum which is being seen by many as a vote on whether Greece wants to stay in the euro.
