A group for distressed mortgage holders believes the housing market is far from normal, despite a new report suggesting that the market is stabilising.
The housing report from the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland suggests a significant rise in the number of people getting mortgages to buy a home, and a drop in cash buyers.
It also predicts house prices in Dublin could rise by up to 10 per cent in the next year.
