Hundreds of thousands of commuters across the country are being disrupted by strikes at Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus today.
It's because of a dispute over plans to put 10 per cent of routes out to private tender.
Talks aimed at preventing the action failed at the Labour Relations Commission last night - and both Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann are planning legal action against the unions to recover the cost of lost revenue.
Gardaí are warning motorists that bus lanes WILL be in operation today - and there are currently no plans to open them to traffic.
These commuters in Dublin are among those who've been affected by the 48 hour action.
