Half of Irish women go to the toilet in front of their partner, while 40% use their phone on the loo.

According to a new survey by Sonas Bathrooms, 64% of ladies see the bathroom as a safe haven, and pretend to use it to use it to hide away and get some peace. 

Irish women have created their own private spas in the smallest room of the house, doing everything from relaxing, grooming, tanning and dying their hair.

As for the bath or shower debate, 75% find the bath more relaxing, but most use the shower as part of their daily routine.
