Ireland's favourite emoji is the laughing face with tears.
Today is World Emoji Day, and data from around the world has shown who uses which emojis and where.
Originating on Japanese mobile phones in the late 1990s, emojis have become increasingly popular worldwide since their inclusion on the iPhone, which was followed by Android and other systems shortly
Twitter has even created a custom emoji to celebrate the day.
And it's broken down the most-used icons by category.
