Over 1000 cancer patients were driven more than 1 million kilometres to chemotherapy appointments by volunteers for the Irish Cancer Society last year.

Patients can ask to be referred to the free service by participating hospitals right around the country.

September is Dare to Care month on Today FM –and weÂ’re asking presenters and listeners to get out of their comfort zone and to dare each other to raise funds for cancer care.
