Special helplines are being run this weekend by Saolta, the group in charge of Portiuncula Hospital.
It's after it emerged that two babies died and five others were deprived of oxygen during birth at the Ballinsloe hospital last year.
The hospital has been contacting the seven families.
The helpline, 0909 624 620 will operate from 9am to 5pm tomorrow, Sunday and Monday.
Meanwhile, there's criticism that the cases came to light in the media before the families were informed.
