High Court To Rule On Graham Dwyer's Action Over Phone Data

The High Court is expected to rule today on Graham Dwyer's attempt to overturn a law which allowed the use of mobile phone evidence during his murder trial.

Mr Dwyer claims that data gathered by Gardai from his phone shouldn't have been used in the trial where he was convicted of the murder of Elaine O'Hara.

The data gathered from his work phone placed him at a specific place at a particular time, however Mr Dwyer, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2015, claims the use of the data was unconstitutional.

A decision is expected later today.
