The High Court will rule today on RTE's bid to vary a court injunction preventing them from airing details of Denis O'Brien's banking arrangements with IBRC.
The temporary injunction was handed down last month.
But many of the details emerged in a statement made by TD Catherine Murphy under privilege in the Dáil.
It has since been ruled that Deputy Murphy did NOT break Dáil rules in making the comments.
Last week the court clarified that the order did not extend to Dáil privilege but RTE wants the court to reconsider its scope.
