Hillary Clinton says she felt like curling up and never leaving the house again after failing to win the US Presidential election.

She says the last seven days haven't been easy, urging her supporters to persevere through the Donald Trump era.

Mrs Clinton's used a children's charity event in Washington DC to ask her backers to "stay engaged on every level" and never give up.
