She'll now go head to head with Republican Donald Trump in November's election.
The announcement was made at the Democratic Party convention in Philadelphia overnight when her former rival Bernie Sanders conceded his defeat.

Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep was also at the Democratic Convention and gave this speech in support of Hillary:
