Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a hit and run that's left a teenager in hospital.

A 15 year old boy was struck by a car near a restaurant outside the Blanchardstown Shopping centre at around 4.40pm - the driver fled the scene.

The injured teen was taken to Temple Street Hospital with leg injuries.
