Organisers of a rally on homelessness in Dublin today say not enough has been done since the death of Jonathan Corrie.

It's one year to the day since 43 year old Mr Corrie's body was found in a doorway near the Dáil, sparking calls for change, candlelit vigils and a homeless summit.

Over 100 million euro has been allocated by the Government in the last year to deal with homelessness and new rules have been introduced in a bid to control spiraling rents.

But Mike Allen from Focus Ireland - who is one of the organisers of today's rally - says it's not enough:

Thousands of people are expected to march through Dublin later calling for urgent action to solve the homeless crisis.

The demonstration starts at the GPO this evening (1700) and finishes with a rally at Leinster House, close to the site of Jonathan Corrie's death.
