It's claimed the hijack of an EgyptAir plane at Larnaca airport in Cyprus has ended.

Cyprus's state broadcaster claims he surrendered to authorities and emerged from the aircraft with his hands in the air.

Sky's Diplomatic Editor Dominic Waghorn has been following events in the last half hour:
The man earlier claimed he was wearing a suicide belt, and forced the aircraft to divert to Cyprus, after it took off from Alexandria in Egypt at 630 this morning.
Just after 12.30 this afternoon, four people wearing uniforms appear to have either been released or escaped from the aircraft.
