The Irish Times asked hotel staff around the country about the most annoying hotel guest behaviour and came up with a top ten.

Clicking fingers

Taking food from the breakfast buffet

- Guilty!

The very-hard-to-please guest

- Fair enough.

Smoking in the rooms

- Not on.

Checking in too early and looking to check out late

- Guilty!

Looking for free accommodation

- Cheeky!
