Lexus have developed one of the world's first hoverboards.

They released a video of the skateboard sized machine, which glides over the ground and water.

It uses magnets and a superconducting material that's cooled with liquid nitrogen to keep it hovering.

However if you'd hoped to take one out and about, unfortunately they're still in the prototype stage and are not yet on sale.
