It's been revealed that the average child receives around 6 thousand euro in pocket money over the course of their childhood.

A UK survey has found that parents give children an average of 9.50 a week for helping around the house - a 54 per cent increase on when they were young.

It found parents are giving their children nearly 500 euro a year in pocket money.

The survey was carried out by cleaning brands, Flash and Viakal.
