Senior HSE officials will appear before a Dail Committee today, to discuss the treatment of people with intellectual disabilities in care centres.
It follows allegations of mistreatment of residents in Aras Attracta in Co Mayo.
The HSE staff will be asked to explain how care settings are monitored and what type of oversight is in place.
