Over a thousand people have turned out for a vigil in memory of the five victims of the Buncrana pier tragedy.

Louise James - whose two boys, partner, mother and sister died in the tragedy - was joined by relatives at the gathering at Lough Swilly last night.

Ms James addressed the crowd to thank members of the public for their support since the horrific incident last week.

Baby Rioaghac-Ann is the only survivor when the family's car slipped on the pier into the water below.
