The US is preparing to evacuate its base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba over the threat from Hurricane Matthew.
The base is notorious as the site of a detention facility for captives from the Afghanistan war and is in the current predicted path of the storm.
Matthew's centre may now miss Jamaica but the country is still facing up to 63 cm of rain.
It's the worst hurricane to hit the area since 2007.
