The celebrity gardener was back on Today FM to chat all things gardening with Alison on Saturday Breakfast.
But the first topic of conversation was what he really thinks about Dermot Whelan's infamous impression.
He admits that doing a slot with the fake Diarmuid was good fun, especially for his wife:
