One of Dalkey's most famous former residents said he'd consider making the south Dublin town his forever home.
Speaking to the WTF Podcast with Marc Maron Matt Damon described Dalkey as "just beautiful".
"We loved it there so much, it was in the back of my head like 'I could move here'", he said.
They should put a statue of Matt Damon holding a Super Valu bag on the waterfront in Dalkey. Seriously, like.

He famously sent Twitter into overdrive, when the A-Lister took up residence in the seaside town for the first 3 months of lockdown last year.
The Hollywood star was renting a house there to film a new movie when production was shut down due to the pandemic.

It took very little time to become a regular among locals, even heading to the Forty Foot diving point, carrying his towel in a Supervalu bag.
