A Waterford Councillor almost choked to death on his false teeth in front of the Taoiseach at a jobs announcement yesterday.
Fine Gael's John Carey says he's lucky to be alive after his new dentures came loose when he took a glass of water.
Fellow councillor Lola O'Sullivan jumped to help, with the Taoiseach ready to step in, but the drama ended when Mr Carey managed to catch his breath.
