Irish teenager Ibrahim Halawa has gone on hunger strike awaiting trial in Egypt.
The 19 year old's family say they're increasingly concerned for his wellbeing after his case was adjourned for a 7th time earlier this month.
According to the Irish Times a letter from Ibrahim has been smuggled out of prison and says he will remain on hunger strike until he is allowed home.
He was detained during a protest in Cairo in August 2013 - an 8th court date for his trial has been set for August 2nd.
