ComReg has issued a warning to the public, after a spate of scam calls from international numbers.
The calls appear to be coming from Chad, Liberia and the remote island of Comoros.
People have taken to social media to warn others about the calls from unkown African phone numbers.

The regulator is warning that if you phone back you may be end up being charged for a premium rate call.
Just received a call from Comoros which google tells me is an island off east Africa. 00269.... scam apparently calling hundreds of Irish.

It is also advising customers never to give out bank details or personal information over the phone.
so i've gotten multiple calls and voicemails today from the same number but i think it's a scam call...
