There's been a huge reaction to Michaella McCollum's first interview since being released from a prison in Peru last week.
During last night's interview the 23 year old from Co Tyrone said her decision to smuggle cocaine was made in a "moment of madness".

She was arrested in Lima airport in 2013 and convicted of trying to smuggle 1.8 million euro's worth of cocaine to Spain.
She was sentenced to six and a half years in prison but was released last week after serving 2 years and 3 months.
It's unclear when she will be allowed to return home.


RTE has come in for criticism for not asking harder questions during the interview.
