The IFA says Irish Farmers are being short changed by beef processors.
Talks between Farm groups and the Meat industry will get underway over the next two weeks.
Both sides have agreed to engage in discussions following a meeting of the Beef forum last night.
Farmers claim the price paid for their beef is 350 euro per head less here, than in the UK, or one euro per kilo.
IFA President Eddie Downey says Irish farmers are being badly treated by the meat industry.
