The IMO Council has recommended that its members reject the Lansdowne Road Agreement on public sector pay restoration.
The Council met this evening and voted unanimously to recommend rejection of the Agreement.
Speaking tonight, IMO President, Dr Ray Walley, said 'the agreement won't stop the exodus of Doctors from our health system'
He also said 'Government still refuse to address the fundamental principle of equal pay for equal work'
The pay deal includes two thousand euro pay increases over three phases between January of next year and September of 2017.
