The Garda Commissioner says she wants to hear from mid-ranking gardai about their thoughts on whether the recent scandals were incompetence or deception.

Noirin OÂ’Sullivan is to address the AGSIÂ’s annual conference in Killarney in the next hour, the first time sheÂ’ll meet them since the breath test and wrongful convictions revelations.

AGSI President Antoinette Cunningham will say members were not shown due process by the Commissioner in her recent comments at the Oireachtas Justice Committee.
