The volume of retail sales are on the increase.
The latest data from the CSO show sales grew by 6.1 per cent in July compared to June of last year.
Annually - they rose by 4.7 per cent.
The biggest increases were experiences in the Motor Trade industry along with Stationary, Clothing and Footwear and Books, Newspapers and Stationary.
The biggest decreases were in the sale of Electrical Goods and Fuel.
