Two new reports say the increases in property prices is beginning to slow down.
A report from Daft.ie says prices actually fell in the last quarter of 2014 - possibly as a result of the Central Bank planning new rules making it harder to get a mortgage.
A similar report from MyHome.ie says prices rose in the last quarter, but only by 0.6 per cent - and both reports agree that the general rate of increase is now slowing down again.
However both reports also state that 2014 saw a huge increase in the cost of buying a home - and economists are worried that the Central Bank's new mortgage rules might not be enough to stop prices from spiralling out of control yet again.
