Support for independent candidates has reached its highest level since 2011, according to this morning's latest opinion poll.
At 31%, its the highest gain for them in four years from 14%.
It's good news for Renua and the Social Democrats - both parties are included in the ‘independents’ bloc.
The larger parties dipped slightly - Fine Gael was the only party not to lose support.
