An independent review into the handling of Mairia Cahill's rape allegations has begun in Belfast.
The review is being taken by the UK's former DPP, Sir Keir Starmer.
He's investigating the handling of both the prosecution of the alleged rapist, and of the people accused of running an alleged IRA "kangaroo court".
It's understood that Mairia Cahill herself met with Mr Starmer today as the review gets underway.
