A man's murdered 14 members of own family in India - including seven children, his wife and parents.

The 35 year-old took his own life after the attacks.

Police say he killed them with a butcher's knife while they were asleep at the family home near Mumbai.

The man's sister survived the attack and was taken to hospital after neighbours heard her screaming for help.
