Michael Noonan has been accused of possibly withholding significant information from the Dáil on the night IBRC was liquidated.
Social Democrat TD Stephen Donnelly says the Dáil should have been told about some of the tensions that have now been revealed by the bank's CEO.
Mike Aynsley told the Banking Inquiry that the Department wanted to stop a named businessman from buying assets - even if it meant accepting a far lower bid.
