Independent News and Media says it won't change its journalism in spite of threats made against some journalists at the company.

Gardai have told some reporters that their safety is at risk from Dublin based criminal gangs.

Editor in Chief at INM Stephen Rea says they're taking the threats seriously and they're taking extra security precautions to protect journalists as a result.

But he says they will continue to report on crime:
