The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is welcoming news that nursing graduates are to be offered permanent jobs.
Hospital managers have been given the go ahead to hire all 1500 of this year's class as part of a 100 million euro plan to ease overcrowding.
However the INMO is warning that it may not be enough to keep them in the country, with other places like the UK 'aggressively' recruiting Irish trainees.
