Inquiry into handling of British doping allegations

The British government has ordered an inquiry into the Anti-Doping Agency over its handling of an investigation into allegations involving Premier League footballers and other top athletes.

An investigation by The Sunday Times claims a private doctor charged sports stars thousands of pounds for drug programmes.

It claims Britain's Anti-Doping watchdog knew about it two years ago but failed to act.

The organisation says it's "deeply concerned and shocked" by the allegations.
