An investigation is underway into how 6 people got stuck - 50 feet above the ground - on a fairground ride in County Waterford last night.
Members of the fire service were called to the scene in Tramore shortly after 7.30pm, following reports that the 'Chair -o- plane' ride malfunctioned.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified.
Niall Curtin is the Chief Fire Officer in Waterford - he's outlined what happened after they received a call:
Two adults and four children were stuck for around an hour.
There are no reports of injuries.
