Gardai are investigating the suspicious death of a 37 year old man in North Cork.

He was found injured at the house he rented in Shanavoher, outside Mallow on Saturday afternoon, after a neighbour reported a window broken.

The man - who's originally from Castletownroche - was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem has been carried out, and the area remains sealed off this morning.
