Investigators say a piece of a plane's wing that's washed up on an island in the Indian Ocean could be from a Malaysia Airlines plane, which disappeared more than a year ago.

The Boeing 777 vanished with 239 people on board.

The airline says it's "premature" to speculate if the wreckage is from flight MH370.

Aviation expert Neil Hansford says officials will know quickly if there's a serial number on it.
