An investigation is underway after a suspected drone strike involving a passenger plane at Heathrow Airport.

There's been huge growth in the popularity of drones in Ireland, with more than 4 thousand drones being flown in Irish airspace.

Operators here are being warned of the dangers of flying unmanned aircraft, although new laws were introduced late last year requiring all drone operators to register & attend a training programme.
