Investigations are continuing into an incident at a Cork swimming pool which has left a small boy critically ill in hospital.

The 4 year old from Tipperary was on holiday with his parents and two brothers at the Quality Hotel in Redbarn when he got into difficulty.

He was initially taken to Cork University Hospital before being transferred to Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin, where he's still being treated this morning.
