Hosting the Rugby World Cup in 2023 would bring an extra €800 million to the economy.

Ireland are battling it out with South Africa and France for the chance to stage the international event in seven years time.

The 100 million euro all island bid was unveiled this afternoon with several GAA stadia included in the logistics plan.

Liam Neeson has been drafted in to help Ireland in our bid to host the 2023 Rugby World Cup. He’s narrated the video ‘Ready For The World’ free of charge hoping to boost the already high hopes of hosting one of the biggest international sporting events.

The tournament would attract almost 4 and a half thousand visitors, bringing an extra €800 million to the economy with worldwide TV audiences predicted to reach over 4 billion.
