One of the country's leading obesity experts says Ireland's weight problem is spiralling out of control.
Professor Donal O'Shea says Irish people need to "grasp the nettle" and take personal responsibility for their weight.
He's responding to a new report which says Irish men over 50 now have the rate of obesity as their American counterparts.
