There's strong Irish interest in tonight's 89th Academy Awards in LA.
Three films with Irish actors involved are up for gongs - Loving's Ruth Negga - Florence Foster Jenkins' Consolata Boyle and the Lobster starring Colin Farrell.
The red carpet action is due to kick off from midnight in Ireland, with the ceremony proper getting underway at 1:30am.
Film broadcaster Phillip Molloy says that unfortunately - it's unlikely Ruth Negga will take home an Oscar:
